Guillaume, Jennifer's husband, was born and raised in Belgium and has been around dogs all his life.
Guillaume’s parents were successful breeders of Briards. Guillaume began dog sport in 2004 at the age of 14 and was incredibly fortunate to train with and learn from some of the best helpers in the country. At the age of 17 he earned his helper certification.
In 2008 Guillaume trained a dog who was selected for the FCI with 93 pts in protection. This dog was also the 2009 all breed Belgian champion, and also the top Malinois in 2009. Three years later Guillaume moved to Switzerland. Of the two dogs he worked as a helper in 2014, one was the Swiss champion for all breed and the other the Malinois champion. In 2017 he trained a Malinois who earned 94 points at the DMC championship. In 2018 Guillaume worked as the helper for dogs at the DMC championship where they earned 88, 90, 92 & 93 points in protection. One of which qualified for the VDH German championship all breed. Also in 2018 he trained 2 dogs who were selected for the FCI. Another earned a perfect 100 points in protection at the Cacit in France. This same dog consistently scored over 90 in protection .
In 2019 one dog trained by Guillaume was Landesmeister DVG in Germany and another vice-champion at the Belgium National Championship for the Malinois. Two dogs trained by Guillaume in 2020 were selected for the FMBB (cancelled due to Covid). In 2021 Guillaume was selected as one of the helpers for the Belgian all breed championships. He also helped train dogs that competed for Spain in the WUSV.
In 2022 Guillaume trained the dog with the best bite work for the German Shepherd Dog that dog also won the Belgium VVDH in 2023 with 92 in protection. Guillaume has been selected as helper for over 12 Belgian championships (all breed Malinois and German Shepherds) and in 2019 was the reserve helper for DVG championship in Germany.
