I started dog training in 2002 when I attended and graduated from Olympus K9 dog training academy, located in Orangeville Ontario. I learned about how to train security dogs, personal protection dogs, narcotic/bomb detection dogs, pet obedience, and last but not least Schutzhund.
Since then, I have competed in over 50 trials with multiple different dogs. I represented Canada 3 times, 2014 FCI World championships in Malmo Sweden, 2016 WUSV Universal Championships in Paderborn Germany, 2017 WUSV World Championships in Regau, Austria placing 10th overall. 8 Canadian National championships. Multiple Regional Championships, and club level trials.
I bought my first Schutzhund dog Axel vom haus Hillsview in 2004, where we obtained a BH. He unfortunately was not suited for the sport.
I purchased “Kevin” in 2006 – Silas von der Jubricht wherewe obtained SchH3, SG and KKL.
